never seen the colors of your eyes

Nothing much to say today, I'm currently thinking about what to bring along to Disneyland Paris in four days (we're going for five days). I'm quite excited, as I'm still in my childhood (mentally) and I just love that you can behave like a child there and nobody thinks you're a complete retard.

Yesterday (or the day before, I forgot) my mum finished a pink shawl for me. It's so nice, it has little pink pearls in it, and I just love the color. It's also soft and has a special shape. I'm guessing this piece is going with me to Paris!

I'm loving this! It's also a good chance to show you my new necklace: the snake one. It reminds me a bit of Slytherin (in the Harry Potter series). I'm quite obsessed, I admit it ;) That's it for now, I don't have much to tell! Only that I'm having a birthday dinner on Saturday with friends. I'll probably bring along my camera as I love social photos (or what to call them).

Oh, and I had this dream last night, I dreamed of Adrien Brody! It was quite nice, as I do think he's very attractive... Yup, it was definitely a dream. If it comes true I wouldn't have any problems with it *sigh*.
What did you dream about lately?

Thanks for reading and I hope you all have a nice day!
Oh, and it's the first day of school today (in Belgium), good luck everybody! And good luck to the other students too, that go back to school soon. I'm going to uni on 17th Sept, still have time to chill.

Mrs. Pollymoggle and outfit

Blogging seems to be in our family. My mum has created a blog, Mrs. Pollymoggle, where she shares her love for knitting and crochets. She's currently busy with knitting shawls and I had the opportunity to wear for a couple of seconds.

These photos were taken to show the shawl on her blog, so the Hello Kitty shirt has nothing to do with it. I really like the pattern and the color. I'm still amazed at what my mum can do with just some thread. She buys her wool and stuff online, so she gets packages almost every day. Which is pretty fun. I also want to show you some wool she got today, such pretty colors! It's Wollmeise or something, appearantly it's a really famous wool store. They dye the wool by hand and use different shades. Gorgeous.

Saturday I purchased this stretchy jeans skirt from H&M. I made a combination with an oversized tshirt (also from H&M) I bought some time ago. It's casual, loose and doesn't have a real shape. But I like it. I also bought an owl ring from H&M (I'm in love with that store) and shower gel with peach.

owl ring, skirt and oversized tshirt: H&M

That's about it for now. The outfit post isn't that cool or amazing, but it's the best I can do for now. Tomorrow I'm going to see Toy Story 3 with a friend and I'm planning to start on some quilts again (I once started doing this, but I gave up after a while).

Thanks for reading!

how men come hunting for souls

So here I am with my first blog. My mum bought me these two lovely necklaces at a small boutique in our local town yesterday. The clothes in the boutique were so expensive, I almost fell down by amazement ... But when we asked for the necklaces (we saw them on a doll, so there was no price) I didn't fell down, my mum payed £3 for each (I think). It's a bargain, right? At least in my opinion ;)

The gold one is my favourite, especially because when you turn it around it's exactly the same. Lots of necklaces have these flat and ugly backsides, but oh no, this one is exactly the same on both sides. It's heaven. But on the other hand ... the owl is so cute, I mean, just  look at those big pink eyes.

Another thing that made me happy today is a one year subscription of Dazed&Confused magazine, thank you mum!

And I'm currently working on school, how interesting, and I just finished this illustration for a book cover. We had to re-create a book cover for illustrations class, I chose Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. I kind of like it, altough the rabbit isn't a rabbit. It's like a combination of a ginea pig and a dog. Imagine that ...

It's Saturday, yay. Have a nice weekend!
